Think back to a time when Kindles, Nooks, and other E-Book readers weren't common place. Remember? You know, when books had paper pages. If you can recall that time, then you are in for a treat this weekend in Warner Robins Georgia.
That's right, the 7th annual Friends of the Library Old Book Sale is back and bigger than ever. With over 90,000 used books available for sale, there is sure to be something for everyone. So whether you are a casual reader, page turner, or a self proclaimed book-worm, come on out...you will find something worth reading.
When: 10am-8pm (Today), 9am-8pm (Friday), and 9am-3pm (Saturday)
Where: Georgia National Fairgrounds, Georgia Building, in Perry GA
Cost: $5 admission on Thursday and free on both Friday/Saturday
On average, book prices will be 50 cents to $3 with rare books costing a bit more.
The event raises money for all the Houston County GA Libraries. Last years event raised over $39,000.
