Stop the Rain!!!! Ok, Please stop the rain. Here in the Northern Arkansas area of the Ozark Mountains we have received roughly 15 inches of rain in less than a week.
We kept our mouths shut the first few days...after all, the good folks in Texas are fighting wild fires, and we were actually in a bit of a drought.
Stop the Rain!!!! Our crystal clear waters of Bull Shoals Lake and Lake Norfork look more like chocolate milk right now than trophy bass producers. Lake Norfork has risen over 23. 24 feet in less than a week! The lakes were built to provide flood protection for the White River valley and they have done their jobs!
The forecast for the beautiful Twin Lakes, Mountain Home, Arkansas area is for sunshine Thursday and Friday....that will be a relief! The waters will clear and the fish will love having the extra cover for their spawn...Where did I put those dry socks?
