The Power Of Reblogging....It Has The Energy Of Lightening!!

We continually feel the benefits of using ActiveRain for our Internet marketing.  I have to share with you my opinion of one of the greatest compliments that one agent can do for another.  Reblogging of a post is equivalent to saying, without literally saying it, that you did a great job of presenting that property; or your photos were very nice; or your content describes it well; or maybe all of the above and I'm going to help you get more exposure.

When another agent reblogs one of my posts, it's a gesture that is appreciated and leaves me very humbled.  It's a reminder for me to do more reblogging for others.  I focus so intensely on producing my own content that I usually forget about the function of reblogging.

Reblogging provides more exposure for that post; I just did a Google search for "open house Sunday may 1 franklin ma" and there it was, as alive as life itself!!!  I have the top 5 open house titles for that search.  The Villas at Eagles Nest reblogged by Lenn Harley is #4 and my Eagles Nest is #5.

I reblogged a post this morning written by Brenda Mullen about a direct mail marketing postcard for a free market analysis that Brenda will be mailing soon.  If you Google "free market analysis Schertz texas" Brenda is 1 & 2 including my reblog.  That's the power of reblogging.

If you're fortunate enough to be reblogged by a "heavy hitter" like Lenn Harley, you will have double exposure or maybe exposure you would not have normally received!!!  Thanks Lenn for today's reblog.  I certainly appreciate it more than you know.

Definitely changed my idea about re-blogging.  I have always taken it as a compliment, but know there are those who are insulted that their work is being "taken".  But this is a much better, and accurate spin.  It IS a compliment.  Thanks for pointing it out.

A re-blog is an intimate gesture from one professional to another that is hard to explain because it does so much like your post describes...it is a pat on the back, a salute by your peers, and a goodwill gesture...it just wreaks of validation and unconditional support....Good post and host...thank you

Hi Barbara, I came across your post on re-blogging on Alison's site: The Power Of Reblogging....It Has The Energy Of Lightening!!, here is what I said to her:  Alison, thanks for re-blogging this post about re-blogging....now that's a tongue twister.  I have as of recently been some what of a re-blogging fanatic or turning into a re-blogging guru.  In addition to providing some of the benefits Barbara mentions above, it also assist me in finding good content for my blogs, in-and-out, (no, not the burger) that everyone is talking about today.  I don't always have enough time to write blog post that I would like to write, right then, so I have started looking for blog posts from other agents on AR that has information that I would want to share on my blogs and then re-blog it.  It gives me the benefit of additional, valuable content on my blogs and gives them the benefit of the whole re-blogging factor and the google juice behind it.  After reviewing some blog post last night and today, I think I came across 3 or 4 articles that I re-blogged because I thought it was good information to share and pass along.

When I have done this I am constantly getting thanked for re-blogging because the rainer missed it the first time.  Just as I have thanked many people for re-blogging something as well.
