While running through the deep woods of the Park just 2 days ago I almost ran into something that literally took what breathe I had away. I did come to an abrupt stop and as I have seen on the tele I slowly started to walk back...slowly..without making eye contact..slow and quite as a mouse...I did have the
presence of mind to click this because I knew no one would believe me...and just know objects may appear smaller in my rear view camera...
According to wiki leaks...The Snapping Turtle lives in all kinds of aquatic habitats from rivers and lakes to ponds and small streams. While in the water, the snapping turtle loses its aggressive behavior and becomes very shy. Outside of the water they can be vicious...They can run up to 0 mph with short spurts of 0 mph. Thank God I am running a tad faster and I live to run another day!!
