Foggy photos of River overflowing - White Mountains - New Hampshire

By
Managing Real Estate Broker with Alpine Lakes Real Estate Inc., NHRE# 02863

The torrential down pours added to the already overflowing river banks.

The fog almost obscures the white water ripping down the Pemigewasset River in Woodstock NH.

The Humidity is so high tonight...70 degree air and 38 degree water. Hot meets cold and forms a blanket of fog.

I have had my hammock here for years, and it is normally 30 feet from the waters edge...tonight it's too close.

Good Night Foggy Sunset over the Pemigewasset River in the Mountains of New Hampshire.

the Field heading down to the water has a ghostly hue about it tonight...Good Night White Mountains.

Call me for your white Mountain Property needs...Thanks all.

Steve.. These pictures are so exquisite.  They are works of art.  With this, I *suggested* this blog.  I haven't seen a post with pictures featured yet.  This one should be.  It is top notch.

Steve,

What with the river so cold and it being that warm you could lay in that hammock and keep your beer in the water and cold.

That hammock looks like a perfect summer resting place. Go check those boys and make sure they are way away from the water. Boys can be such goofballs.

Leslie... we did get the boys to come in - in the middle of the night, it poured and we were concerned about a flash flood.

You've captured the power of that flow in those two shots Steve and the fog adds immensely to it's dramatic effect.  At your hammock site that small wisp and perceived calm is waiting patiently for your return.  What a fabulous place to unwind.

Kevin, the river goes where it wants, we are just there to observe...and yes it is a fabulous place to put your feet up (not put your feet in yet too cold).
