Many of the luxury homes in Pomona, NY offer panoramic views of the Hudson River.  My breath is taken away whenever I am in this neighborhood.  On a clear day, you CAN see forever!

One group of homes at the top of the mountain in Pomona, called High Gate Estates, was built between 2002 and 2007.

These luxury homes have 4 bedrooms, 5 bedrooms and 6 bedrooms.  The number of bathrooms ranges from 3 to 6.5 baths.  The square footage of these luxury homes ranges from 2789 square feet to 6716 square feet. These homes are set on anywhere from 0.92 acres to 1.15 acres of land.  They have 1 to 2 fireplaces.  They have 2, 3 and 4 car garages and many have full, finished, walk-out basements.

One home is on the market at this time and it is a 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath colonial with about 6400 square feet, including the finished walk-out basement and a 4 car garage.  The asking price is $1,250,000.

One home that sold on 8/21/2009, was a 4 bedroom, 4 bath luxury home on 0.93 acres of land, and it had 3686 square feet and 2 fireplaces.  It sold for $785,000.  Another home that sold on 9/29/08, sold for $999,000 and it was a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home on 1.17 acres, with 3600 square feet.

There are other homes in this area which are also luxury homes that were built between 1989 and 2000 and are elegant and luxurious.

Many of these homes offer spectacular views of Harriman State Park and the Hudson River, and they are light and bright, with 9 foot ceilings on the main level, skylights, private terraces, and huge decks that are great for entertaining.
