Remember how Mom would holler time to come in and you had to sign off with the neighborhood friends until another time to play outside in Maine, wherever you grew up?

maine cows sleepingOh, you were raised where you were inside more than outside.

Don't they call that a prison except you did not have the anklet security device?

Now that we are all adults, what is holding you in the concrete urban jungle?

Maybe some of you spent summers at your grandparent's farm. Thought this is for me some day.

But forgot the some day while you got busy graduating from college, getting married, starting the rope climb up to middle management in a job that is anything but rewarding, satisfying.

Nothing you jump out of bed and can not wait to get across the beltway excited to arrive at work.

The place where you roll your sleeves up. Wonder what difference you really make in your coveted corner office that came with a parking space others are green eyed jealous about.

Stop. Stop now and consider Maine farming. Not to make a killing living. But for the sheer satisfaction of being outside all you can. And Mom not calling to tell you to come in, time to eat.

Raise Maine dairy or beef critters, row crops, grow Christmas trees, red deer, alpaca, goats, chickens, etc.

Maine is a rural state and this 76 acre farm is right up your alley. Take the Littleton Maine video tour.happy maine cows

Or need another Maine farm to chew on, consider this morning. There is not another Maine farm spread prettier with house, barn, out building wise or when you consider the location in Linneus Maine. 88 acres of Maine land wraps around this one. Indoor horse riding arenaif your kids want year round post and trot. Ah, your don't have the right diagonal. Ok, better.

Seriously Maineis outdoor rural and low cost property.

Friendlier Maine people, 4th lowest crime and 46th lowest for FSSR (Foreclosure, short sale, repossession related real estate sales).

Get here quick as you can.

Wake up, dream standing up in Maine.

Leave the corner office in the city high rise, sell the parking space to your favorite colleague who works there, is trapped there in the suburbia blur wearing the taser.

Never been to Maine, but it sounds so nice.....of course, I'd want the farming to be the best for the animals :-)

Looks like a great farm Andy. When I moved to Seattle from rural Minnesota, I wondered how you could sell a property with lots smaller than 20,000 sq ft. Wow. I found out some were only 3000. Where does a guy take, ah...time to relax when out in a yard that small.

Kristin ... Mooo-ve to Maine.

Glenn ... Still re-watching the neat video you did on local organic farm produce and the packages of what you can get in your area in season for good wholesome food. The song "Up on the roof" a place the singer goes to figure things out. Only place for space to think.
