Relaxing why the waters are calm… I WISH!

By
Real Estate Agent with eXp Realty LLC 200311024

As I sit here and view this beautiful site and think how wonderfully calm and peaceful this is, it also reminds me that I need to ramp it up, reach out and find new business rather than sitting back and enjoying the site.

The peaceful calm

Though it is relaxing, if I sit too long, the business will pass me by and I would lose my calm as bill collectors would start to come by and throw rocks in my pond. Do you relax when things are going smoothly or do you take advantage of that and use the time to find your future business?

Todd - I catch myself relaxing when all is going well - easy to forget to do the work that got you there.

Todd, you know the saying, nobody looks back at their life and says I wish I could have worked with one more client, rather at the end of my life I want to look back and remember each small lake, stream and ocean that I shared with my family and friends...

I find that scheduling time off is the best way that way I can plan accordingly ahead of time. This doesn't mean it's carved in stone and if business needs to be done than so be it.

Don't sit too long, but make sure you sit long enough. Stop and smell the roses, life is short.

I LOVE to relax when business slows.  I believe you gotta make hay while the sun shines, but snuggle on the couch when it rains.

I personally enjoy the ups and downs of this business.  I did 8 deals a month ago, and now am trying to hide out and play with technology, clean my house, play with my cat and walk more.  There will be time to get busy later.

So enjoy your lake view.  More business ALWAYS comes.
