Avoid Fines in Boca Raton. RMLS in Palm Beach County Compliance Checker.

Being a part of the Realtor's Association of the Palm Beaches, one of the things that I dislike is getting complaince notices from Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS) and ultimately fines.  I was speaking to Carol Bloom with RMLS and she mentioned a new way for agents and brokers to check to see if you have any complaince issues.

log onto http://www.rmls.mlxchange.com

  • enter your login credentials
  • click on the listing you want to check and click edit listing
  • on the bottom left is an action menu with a dropdown.  click on the dropdown and click listing data checker

You will see everything that is not compliant in your listing showed in red.

I honestly believe that many of these fines are absurd, but since we must live by these rules you might as well take precautions to not getting fined.

Honestly, I wish all boards had a compliance checker. It sounds like a lovely tool for your local Realtors.
