After running into 4 posts about the Kodak Challenge (signs or flyers), it was obvious that the challenge's date is today.
Checked the rules, and yes, there is no mistake.
We do not use signs that much, as we are predominantly buyer's brokers. For the same reason we do not really use any flyers.
My biggest marketing piece, which is coming from the press, is my business
card. Well, everybody uses business cards, what is the difference? I would say because of our office location. The office is on the first floor of an oceanfront resort.
My card is on the Front Desk and we go through quite a number of those. About 70 to 150 people a week are taking my card. Sometimes people would use them to make a quick note, and this is OK. Sometimes I get the calls and they tell me that they have my card, and they now have some questions...
I like my card and I like these feet on the card. Everybody notices them, it brings smiles to people's faces. When people like something, it works. And it is a great starter of conversations, as when thhey ask whose feet they see, I tell them that these are their feet, and all they need is to imagine themselves on the Beach...
"I am writing this post as an entry to the ActiveRain/Kodak Sign/Flyer Challenge and have a chance to win the Kodak ESP 6150 All-In-One Printer and ink!"
I really do not care about the printer, not a bit, but I still put it here, as this is the rule. I guess this makes me a law abiding guy (LOL)

Jon,
We all waited to the last minute on the East Coast, to see if we could hear the West Coast cry after we crash the AR servers.
LOL
No force is stronger than the power of Procrastination!
Jon, I thought the server was crashed when I tried to enter mine - when I finally finagled my way back to the page, I had posted it twice! So gladl the Delete button is there.
I'm also mainly a buyer's agent so the sign contest did not get me too excited. Now I do have a very cool business card. I guess I should have thought of your twist.
Jon, glad I read this post as I didn't know about this challenge...going to check it out.
Jon, you have a beautifully designed business card...and I don't doubt it because of your amazingly talented daughter and son-in-law design team! :)
From a fellow procrastinator,
I didn't even hear about this challenge. Guess I better go look it up!
Too funny, Papa Jon! I saw all of these entries and hadn't heard about the challenge either! I have to say that your business cards are among my favorites--they DO put a smile on people's faces. I want the name of whomever created them for you--they're genius!! ;-)
I do use signs, but never use flyers. Simply didn't have time for this challenge . . .
One more proof that we're such a last minute society. For sure. Nothing surprises me anymore. Go get em!
Jon, you have a very cool card. The feet do make me smile. I can see the connection how a card is much like a real estate sign.
Missed this challenge. Love your card and I guess pretty soon you will have new ones when you get a new Company name.
BTW - What's with all the Kodak challenges lately? Are they part owners of AR now????
I have always loved your picture of sandy feet especially during the frozen tundra season here in Indy!
Jon - sand on the feet, the ocean for a backdrop what's not to smile about ..... some of my favourite things sun sea sruf and sand ..... Make It A Great May!
