Not sure how to stay busy today and build your business?

Its an amazing Friday.  Here is my "Back The Basics"  game plan:

  1. Visit 5 homes on the MLS listed for over 75 days. Maybe the seller will see my hand written note about how nice the home is and thank you for showing. Third agent is the one!
  2. Call 5 past clients and check in to say "Hi".  Tell them about the great buyers market.
  3.  BLOG (always longer than anticipated)
  4. Wear my name badge and network at  5 of my local businesses.
  5. Write 5 hand written notes to past clients and give them a market update flyer.
  6.  Spend some time on preparing information for my Monthly Newsletter.
  7. BLOG some more......
  8. Go to Spinning Class....

Enjoy a glass of wine and BBQ with my family while watching the sunset...

Cheers!

Kimberly,

Good advice but I'll skip the spinning class.

Great plan.

A couple of suggestions. Make the card a photo card and personalize it. I happen to sell a service that can do that.  We can also do physical cards that you can send out that scan your actual handwriting and look handwritten but you send them online and save a ton of time.

Also, you need a monthly automated follow up system in place.

You are on the right track and are doing great!

Hi Kimberly:  What in incredibly gorgeous picture.  Did you take that yourself ?

As far as your list of things to do to stay busy and build your business is concerned...  along with calling five people, I would first go over to Tuesday Morning, or The Dollar Store, or another one fo those places, and buy a bunch of any sort of a small gift item that might surprise one of your past customers, clients, or even just someone in your "relationship base."

Drop in on them.  Let them see your gorgeous smile.  Brighten their day.  Tell them you were thinking of them, and that made you smile.  And, since they made you smile, you thought you'd stop over in person to share that with them.  And... here, I saw this today, and I thought you'd like it.

And then say to them... "oh, if you're ever in a conversation with someone, and they mention that they... are thinking about getting a larger, more expensive home... please don't keep ME a secret !  It is such a great buyer's market out there... I'd love to make one of your friends jump for joy."

Take care Kimberly... Happy Spinning !
