How to Email your text messages...

I learned this from my Nephew. You learn a lot of the cool tech tools from the Kids in your life so while you are carting them around to Movies and Starbucks and Panera, pay attention and ask a lot of questions. This is how I read my first QR Code and did the first this or that and the list goes on. Just put the gadget in their hands and watch INTENTLY. Go ahead, capitalize on the moment. Just ask, look and linger. If it takes longer than you think, head back to the counter for SECONDS! 

Anyway, as an avid iPAD user I want text capabilty. Often I want to send a friend or two a quick text to relay the message but may not have extra yickety yack time.

So, my Nephew taught me to do this:

cellphonenumber@vtext.com for Verizon.com members. 

Or, if the carrier is another vendor, find the vendor in this list and send your text while on your laptop.

AT&T – cellnumber@txt.att.net Verizon – cellnumber@vtext.com T-Mobile – cellnumber@tmomail.net Sprint PCS - cellnumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com Virgin Mobile – cellnumber@vmobl.com US Cellular – cellnumber@email.uscc.net Nextel - cellnumber@messaging.nextel.com Boost - cellnumber@myboostmobile.com Alltel – cellnumber@message.alltel.com
