I never used to like buddleias, for some reason. But I have been won over by the fact that butterflies like them. That's probably the reason buddleias are commonly called butterfly bush. Plus, I'm attracted to miniatures, and each buddleia flower is made up of dozens of mini-blooms, like a bouquet. This makes it more efficient for butterflies to move from one nectar source to the next without spending more energy on the search. That's good enough for me.

We have lots of butterfly bushes around here. My other half specializes in flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
