Lauren, these architectural marvels are just gorgeous. Such beauty. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Those are great pictures Lauren... I am glad you had a great time and a safe trip back home.
Thank you Karen for stopping by to look at them... I had posted a few on an earlier blog and AR members asked for me to post more...
Thx Stacey~ just trying to get more for my SSundays. ;) it was fun.... I am back working...
Bellisimo! Kristine :)
Grazie~ Kristine~~~ ;) I picked up a whole lot of new Italian words on this visit... Baci is my favorite ;)
OK you've got me again...Nice Pics!
I love Italy. the architecture is beautiful even in a small villages and parks. Thank for sharing those wonderful pictures.
Lauren, these bring back memories of a really fun trip! And isn't the traffic just amazing?
BEAUTIFUL Lauren! What a great opportunity for you to be there! Have fun & be safe!
Lauren, I love Rome! My husband and I went the first time in 1990 by ourselves and then took two of our 3 kids were there were in their teens. The Colleseum is incredible, isn't it. And I love Trevi Fountain! Great pics thanks for sharing as it brought back many great memories for me.
Thanks so much Lloyd < :) > It was a great trip~
Anna~ I captured a pic with a woman drinking out of the water fountain that is always running... Lots of city shots... I was just in the city, no other towns. Short visit.
Patricia~ Since I was on foot and on the upperDeck tour bus almost the entire time... I ask, "what traffic?" LOL~ Did you go outside of Rome as well>? When I go to Italy, I have gone to one city only each time. So, when I flew into Rome, I just saw Rome... How was it? How long did you stay?
Thanks Maggie~ I had to get back in time for Easter Brunch with the family... The only thing I would do different is take a shuttle back instead of the train. It was only 5 euros less, so not worth it... It was fab though~~~
Oh Dee Dee` Fontana di Trevi` was my ultimate fave.... I went back a second time because it was so spectacular. I will take a photo of the watercolor that I purchased from a local artist as well... ;)
Lauren - great photos! Thanks for the virtual Italian tour!
Hello Lauren, Fantastic pictures! It's amazing that people will walk that section every day and just get used to the view.
Absolutely amazing photos Lauren. Maybe you should be a photographer instead. :)
Looks like it was an awesome country to go visit.
What impresses me most is all of the details in the architecture and that some of these buildings have stood for nearly 2000 years. It would be fun to see a time-lapse video of their construction.
Good morning, Lauren. Beautiful photographs. I’m always impressed with the architecture and what people accomplished so many centuries ago. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks you guys!!!!!!!! It honestly was a FUN trip! I enjoyed taking the photos! I could not put the camera down Tom~ I think I should've been that Photographer~ Pro one.... thanks.......
Yes, John and Bill the architecture is quite amazing!!!!! They did something right back then to keep it all STILL standing....
