15 Comments on Enjoying the last cool breezes of the Spring on the first Sunday in May!
I surely hope the breezes dissipate for today. I've been at the range in high winds for 2 days.
I'm amazed though when driving back and forth how lovely the spring blossoms are this year. Lots of rain makes for beautiful spring blossoms.
Just south of you in Warner Robins it should be hot again today (yesterday was beautiful). My husband assures me the pool is ready to go so I am taking this afternoon off to do a little swimming (and lounging).
The sultry weather will be here all too soon, so nice to enjoy a cool morning breeze and still sleep with open windows for now ~ have a great Sunday Richard!
Lenn...
I have a huge rose bush here that has just exploded into bloom. It is gorgeous! THX
Anita...
I need to get down there and see the aircraft museums one of these days! I have been to Perry on several occasions (state fairgrounds) but never to Warner Robins! Thanks.
Richard, you paint a nice picture of your scene this morning! It is going to be very warm in Vero Beach today......beach weather!
Richard,
If that picutre is indicative of your surroundings, it makes the hot weather a bit easier to take. Have a great Sunday
Richard ~ I am doing the same thing as you are this morning. We sure had beautiful weather the last two days. Happy May Day to you!
That really does sound like a great way to start the day. We are also looking for a little heat and no humidity before the heat of the summer hits Maryland.
Hi Richard...I wold love a week of 90's. I need my ground to dry out so I can build. It would also be nice to see the breeze down around 15-20 instead of the 30+
Coffee on a deck with a lap top! Ahhhh, gotta love the blog fix and portal showing of what's shaking in your zip code. Spent the day in and out of showing properties to capture a local river race and thought the same thing. Here comes summer, we are one more notch in to spring heading for BBQ's, 4th of July and watermelon.
Sounds wonderful. Here it's 34 degrees, snow flurries, gusts to 35. The mosquitoes are getting nervous.
Richard...it's like that here in East Tennessee this morning too. Right now it's a mere 68 degrees with plenty of cloud coverage. Hoping it stays that way for most of the day.
Richard, we are experiencing the FIRST breezes of spring, this week we saw the first time in 6 weeks that we had three days of sun. Spring is just beginning here in Gettysburg
Hi Richard...If that is the view from your deck I would have to say you have a wonderful spot to start your day. Enjoy.
Kate
A cool breeze combined with a hot cup of coffee....you better drink it fast before the breeze turns it into ice coffe....:-)
This is quite a nice view, Richard.....reminds me of Austria, my native country.
