May 1st, enough said!
Oh my goodness -- that would be a shock and ruin my day. But that said, I'd take the snow any day over the tornadoes.
Sue of Robin and Sue
Seriously?? UGh... I'm sorry. Hope you didn't have anything planted that got ruined?
Bob, Holy Gads – I cannot get my mind around this … especially living in Sunny California where we are now experiencing temps in the high 70’s. Get the BBQ started and enjoy the snow!
YIKES! It's sunny and in the 70's at the Jersey Shore today! You and your family are always welcome!
Bob - ARE YOU KIDDING? When are you going to see the sunshine? I like your captions "nough said" - you didn't whine...your pictures did it for you!
Ellie, I woke up to my beautiful Bride but once up I wanted to go back to bed.
Anita, believe it or not 90 is my ideal temp as long as it's dry.
Elizabeth, I AM sure I want to move South. The rest of the Timm clan are not so hot on moving. Got room for me?
Diane, you are so rught... it's just wrong!
Tammy, good news, bad news. Tina planted a dozen flowers in the ground so they are toast but the seeds will be OK. We also purchased some hanging baskets but we got them in before the snow hit.
Kathleen, It sounds like as early as Tuesday we will rebound into the high 60's. I am eager to fire-up the grill.
Laura, careful what you say, I may be knocking on your door soon.
Barbara, I sure wish I was kidding. Trying to find a "good side" to this I'm hoping this was a least a setback for the bugs.
Bob, I wrote a post just for this, in order to give you hope for the Spring to come!
Sorry you STILL have snow, but soon you'll have flowers!
Jeremy, I checked out the post and commented as well. Thanks for posting it.
Sure thing, Bob! I went to college in Ashland, WI, so I have SOME idea of what you're going though. But not as late as May 1st. WOW.
Hi Bob, It looks cold, Venice FL is about 88 degree , come and visit ,I will tour you & yours around.
WOW! Kwee, that would be great! I've thought moving to Florida many times although I've only visited once. Are there parts that are not to croweded... a little rural?
Good grief! Snow on May 1! Here in the Houston area we have the air conditioners running full blast, people are wearing shorts and flip-flops, and the swimming pools are open for business! Wow!
Rose, that sounds like heaven to me. I bet you have already put a couple hundred miles on the Harley as well. My birthday is in two weeks and I remember snow on it several times.
Bob, I am sooo glad this storm missed us, it has been an awfully long winter!
Wow, these photos really make me appreciate the sunshine coming and beautiful weather we are experiancing today. Hope it warms up for you soon.
Bob - How unfair is Mother Nature being to your area and Global Warming - not so sure anymore?! I'd be contemplating a move - lol!
Bob ~
oh my gosh! Think spring!? Sending warm thoughts your way. I LOVE the new profile picture! Your daughters new playhouse is worth it in more ways than one.
April, you said it! Today, the 2nd, we have some sunshine and for most of the week we are looking at low 60's which is a huge improvement but I'd like to see mid 70's now.
Larry, thanks for the well wishes as we can use all the positive attitude we can get right now. Much of the Western part of the State lost power and the States 5th largest City has been out of power for a couple of days.
Kristine, I dream of Florida most every day. Sometimes I think I'd like to move to Death Valley or some other desert. As far as Global warming goes there are a lot of us here that would like to force Al Gore to spend a winter here.
Diane, I am thinking spring and even about the hottest part of summer. I appreciate your warm thoughts very much. Glad you like the new pic. I'm thinking of useing it on my neaxt business cards with a caption "Bob is BIG in Real Estate".
Brenda, I'm guessing that May 1st looked better weather wise to about 90 percent of the Earth. Lucky for us in Minot the snow was pretty much gone by yesterday. Just a little further West of us they are only starting to get their electricity back due to all the damage it caused to the power lines.
