Real Estate Market Report of Home Sales for January-September 2007 for Bettendorf, Iowa:

Bettendorf, Iowa First Through Third Quarter 2007 Home Sales Down 4.6%, Average Home Sales Price Up 2.8% from 2006!

REALTOR-assisted "Closed" single-family home sales in the city of Bettendorf, Iowa decreased by 4.6% through the first three quarters of 2007, down from the same period in 2006.

With 469 closed sales transactions from January 1 to September 30, 2007, the Bettendorf market showed a decrease of 23 units (4.6%) from the 2006 total of 492 closed sales transactions.

On a happier note for home sellers, the average sales price of home sales that closed during the same period showed a respectable increase of 2.8%: up from $216,570 in 2006, to $222,575 in 2007.

The average number of days on the market (from home listing date to sale pending date) increased slightly as well, from 58 Days in 2006, to 66 Days in 2007, an dececrease of 13.8%.

The list price to sales price ratio, (reflecting the percentage of the last recorded listing price of a property versus what the property eventually sold for) virtually the same, down from 98.16% in 2006 to 98.06% in 2007. 

The Quad-City Area market is made up of the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, LeClaire, Eldridge and Blue Grass, in Iowa. And Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, and Milan, in Illinois.
