54 closed escrows according to the Kauai MLS for the month of April 2011 with 11 of those being REOs. This is approximattely 20%. This percentage still seems to be holding steady. However it appears more REOs are being release on the market so this may cheang. Definitely as short sales are becoming easier the number of closed short sale transactions are increasing.
