 Paw Park and  South Brohard Beach  Paw Park has a fenced area to separate small dogs from big dogs. Picnic tables, benches, waste disposal, watering hole, hitching post , restrooms and showers. The park is adjacent to Maxine Barritt Park and shares the boardwalk which leads pets and their masters to the only dog friendly public beach in the area. Dogs are allowed to run and play on the sand as well as swim in the Gulf of Mexico, so dog lovers would not feel guilty about leaving their dog at home when they go swimming on the beach within the restricted area.

Venetian Waterway Park  Developed by Venice Area Beautification Inc., assisted by city and county government. Handicap access, benches, little receptacles, dog clean up station, picnic shelters, grills. Bikers, joggers, walkers and roller bladers will enjoy the wide sidewalk along both sides of the scenic ICW views with boats. Parts of the Venetian Waterway go through areas near Venice Gondolier Sun Building which has a historic mural by Colleen Henry, Venice High School, the Publix Grocery Store and Bellagio community. Across US 41 toward the south near the airport you may see wildlife such as bald eagles, gopher tortoises, scrub-jays and possibly bobcats.

Woodmere Paw Park  is located at the corner of Jacaranda Blvd(across from the Jacaranda Library) and Woodmere Park Blvd. The park is secluded with natural vegetation, plenty of trees for shade to cool off from the hot sun. The park offers picnic tables, shelters, jogging trail, water hole, waste disposal and restrooms also play equipments for the children are close by.

Hi Kwee,

That's really great to have a Dog Beach...  I am not sure we have a beach here in California that is just for Pet Owner's and their Pets.  I would just love this....  I will have to check it out now that you posted about Florida having their's. We have lots and lots of park's in my area that have an area just for dogs.

The picture of the two dogs playing ball in the park is so adorable.  Great to see them get along so well.  Thanks for sharing your photos and information that your community will surely benefit from!
