Zeus - male Manchester Terrier for Adoption ARK Animal Rescue and Kare Zeus is a male Manchester Terrier mixed puppy that is almost 6 months old. He weighs 25 lbs and has been neutered, vaccinated and de-wormed.

 

Zeus is a brilliant little guy, who seeks your attention and approval. He is a highly trainable, affection driven, and very well socialized puppy.

 

Zeus is full of energy and very assertive, but not aggressive with those around him. He will make a good indoor pet, traveling companion and adult or child's pet.

 

"The Manchester Terrier is a lively, sharp witted breed that is eager to learn. The breed is extremely loyal to its owner(s) and forms a strong bond early on. Since it is a terrier breed, the Manchester has a tendency to test boundaries, making consistency important in any form of training. This is not a "barky" or neurotic breed, but they are good watchdogs. They do well in rural and urban environments" ...read more from the American Kennel Club

 

 

In his current environment, he chooses to curl up with another dog, rather than sleeping alone.

Zeus will make a very loyal companion, who will be right by his master's side if given the chance.

This is one great looking dog. I know you will find a home for him. I volunteer at one of our county no kill shelters. I never thought of "advertising" a needy pet on AR. GREAT WORK. Let us know how this turns out.

Judi--How good of you to post this!  Zeus looks like a sweetheart.  It is so importan to spread the word that there are so many dogs out there who need a loving home.  These dogs are so grateful when you get them home!

Judi, Zeus looks like he's rarin' to go somewhere... anywhere as long sas it's with a caring human. I'm sure it won't take long to find him a home. Tessa says he can curl up with her.
