Emergency! Calling All Investors!!
I currently have a home listed for sale that I have not been successful selling. Long story short, seller reneged having home staged as he promised to do once his current tenants moved out.
Since it did not sell, he asked me to also list it for lease. It is a very typical, three bedroom, two bath, 1,400 square foot house. At $1,100, it is among the lowest of only 37 homes currently on the market for lease in Fishers, Indiana. I have had no fewer than 20 inquiries. Luckily one of my assistants is handling the showings on this.
What this tells me is that Fishers, Indiana is in dire, desperate need of homes to lease at $1,100 or less. So where are the investors?? Where are the people who can pay cash for the 76 homes currently on the market in Fishers for less than $150,000 and then turn around and lease them? What other investments will give you a 10% or better return on your investment?
