According to Realtor.com, the San Diego Housing market is one of the top market areas where the housing recovery is either imminent or under way. Realtor.com says San Diego has been on the comeback for more than a year. Some of the points that they noted in their report are:
-The median age of inventory for San diego listings in March was 79 days which is about half the national median of 160 days and about 16 percent lower than in February.
-San Diego was the most searched market in February and March.
-The median list price rose 1.4% between February and March but is still down 1.4% from March 2010.
Based on online real estate searches, price stability and the number of days that home are listed for sale, Realtor.com made a list of the ten likeliest areas for an early rebound. Other cities on their list are:
- Buffalo-Niagara Falls, NY
- Los Angeles-Long Beach
- Fort Myers-Cape Coral
- Dallas
- Boston
- Washington DC
- Colorado Springs
- Austin, TX
- Philadelphia
