Sometimes it's too Hard to Say No - Speechless Sundays
We needed a couple of items at the store tonight, and my little one decided he just had to have Apple Jacks. He grabbed them to show to me and asked politely (as always) if he could have them.
He could barely carry them, but he was determined.
How could I say no?
Ha - reminds me of my sons when they were little. They knew better than to beg, so they'd stand next to what they really wanted and give those puppy dog eyes. Got me EVERY time and they knew it!
That is to cute Christine... Look at those big blue eyes.. I wouldn't have been able to say no either.. Plus Apple Jacks are delicious!
Imagine what would have happened if had ever been to the old Costco stores where you would get a bag of Apple Jack bigger than most trunks now.
Cara - There was no verbal begging. He simply asked politely once and then looked at me with those eyes.

Todd - It might have been better if he couldn't pick it up . . .
LOL as a kid one of my favorite cereals was Apple Jacks! I bet if I had it today I would think I had a mouthful of sugar.
Cindy - He's pretty cute! The only problem is that as Mom, sometimes I have to say no.
