I've actually been a member of Active Rain since 2006, what a waste that I've waited 5 years to utilize this great website. But, since we can't go back in time, I will have to just make the most of it from now on.
This month marks my 10 year anniversary of getting into the real estate business. My kids were little when I started and now my daughter is almost 20 and my son is 17. Each and every year in the business has been a learning experience. I'm currently with ReMax Consultant Group out of New Albany, and have been for almost 18 months. I work with Judith Green and Jackie Lewis, we're hoping to open an office later this year possibly at Buckeye Lake.
I live with my husband Jon of nearly 24 years and our two children, in the country North of Granville, Ohio. We also have a Siberian Husky who is almost 13 years old, 3 indoor cats and 1 outdoor cat.
Something I think is cool about us is how we named our kids. My husband's middle name is Ray, as was his fathers. So, when we liked the name Ashley for our daughter but couldn't think of a middle name, Jon thought of Rae for a girl. Then a couple years later when our son came along, we decided to give him my middle name. You might think that's crazy until you know what it is. I always hated my middle name, because I thought it was a boys name. I guess my dad was a fan of Mary Tyler Moore, so mine and my son's middle names are Tyler. It doesn't seem so bad anymore.
I really do enjoy my job as a real estate agent. I work mostly with buyers and take it very serious. I'm not a "sugar coat" kind of person. If I see a crack or a bowing basement wall, I will point it out. I find pushy salespeople to be very offensive, so I do my best to make sure I'm not one of them. However, I am aggressive when I need to be, for example when negotiating for clients.
When you're in search of a hard working, honest agent in the Central Ohio area, give me a call and I'll be happy to get to work for you.

Thanks for the comments Fernando and Karin.
Fernando, LOL, one cat was always an outside cat, even in the winter when we've tried to bring her in for her own good, she freaks out and wants back outside.
