Give Your Kids Some SPACE this Summer at the Ramapo Challenger Center - Suffern NY

Are you looking for something interesting and novel to keep your kids busy and entertained this summer?  Well if you live in the Town of Ramapo and you have a kid that's always dreamed of space or being an astronaut, here's his chance to learn what its all about and to take part in a space mission, even if its only a simulated version of one.

The Town of Ramapo is lucky enough to be the venue of a Challenger Space Center.  It's one of my favorite Ramapo attractions.  This summer the Ramapo Challenger Center will be hosting several sessions of Space Explorers Summer Camp.

  • Session 1- 4 day session- July 5th- July 8th 9am-12pm ($120) or 9am-3pm ($220)
  • Session 2- 3 week session- July 11th- July 29th 9am-3pm ($575)  
  • Session 3- 3 week session- August 1st - August 19th 9am-3pm ($575)

Senior Space Explorers is designed for children entering the 5th, 6th, or 7th grade. 
Junior Space Explorers is designed for children entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade.

Whether you're a junior or senior space explorer, you'll have the opportunity to participate in specially designed age appropriate activities and learn all about astronauts and flight,  experience simulated missions to space, build and launch rockets, learn about computer animation, build and program robots, as well as a host of other activities designed for fun while exploring and learning about science and space.
