I finally did it . . . . I Passed the Virginia Brokers Exam

I finally passed the Virginia Brokers exam.  It is the next step in my real estate career.  I have been procrastinating for a couple of years in doing this and now I can say I finally accomplished this goal.  Feels really good to have completed this. It was definitely not an easy test and had to study really hard but it all paid off.  All that studying, classes, pre-tests, it was all worth it.

I just wanted to share my happiness and excitement with everyone here at Active Rain.  Thanks for all the tips and advice everyone gave me on my previous post when I was studying.  Everyone here is always so helpful and great at sharing all of their knowledge.

Stella...Yeah!!! Congratulations to you!  I think the anticipation of taking a test is usually worse than the test itself.  I'm the same way with having to have a shot.  I almost pass out with anticipation and dread prior to getting the mean old shot but the shot itself is not really that bad.

Hi Stella,

You mention a pre-test in your blog. Was this one of the prep courses that are offered for the brokers test? If so, did you find it useful?

Andrew, yes, it was an extra $89 for practice tests that are available online.  It gives you for example, hundreds and hundreds of questions, even though only 160 will be on the exam.  It is a great tool.  It gives you hundreds of questions on each subject.  It will give you 4 actual exams to try while being timed, and it scores you on your results.  It was great.  I  would definitely recommend that to anyone that is preparing for that.  I am not sure if they have that as part of your study program but I am sure it must be available somewhere online.
