The Creekwood Neighborhood - Cookeville's Country Gem
I thought tonight I would talk about one of my favorite neighborhoods that's out in the countryside. To be more specific, the Creekwood Subdivision is located approximately 5 miles from downtown Cookeville.
Creekwood is a newer subdivision, and I like it for a lot of reasons. First and foremost, there's still new construction going on in this neighborhood. The builders continue to surprise and delight me with their creativity and freshness. They are using new hardwood flooring that I really like, as well as stacked stone elements, and styles that are reminiscent of craftsman.
The other thing I really like about Creekwood is the variation in lot type. Here, you can have a cleared sunny lot, or a shady wooded lot. Many of the builders opted to work with the trees, rather than chopping them down.
There's wonderful pride of ownership in Creekwood, and in fact, some of the artists who live there have stunning landscaping.
As of this writing, there are 7 homes for sale in Creekwood. One of the homes currently available is a foreclosure, and one is a short sale. (The short sale is a VERY good deal, by the way.) There are also two beautiful new construction homes for sale by 4 Square Builders.
Homes in Creekwood generally have either brick or hardy plank exterior. The price range of homes that have sold in Creekwood is from $170k to $260k. Most of the homes in this neighborhood are over 2000 square feet, and some are over 3000 square feet. You can expect gleaming hardwood floors, fireplaces, and spacious kitchens. Some even have granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.
If you want a beautiful neighborhood that's just outside of Cookeville, you might enjoy Creekwood.
I know a fabulous Realtor who would love to show you some of the gorgeous houses available there!
