The sessions are:
1. Basic system(s) set up, everything you need to know to get your system up and working” - presented by Avi Soifer, a computer pro with a world of experience.
2. The differences between the Apple and the PC world and what it means in everyday usage terms - presented Jason Philo, a former Apple Rep and now with a major computer supplier.
3. Experienced intellectual property attorney Matthew Bycer will discuss some of the pitfalls that await businesses. (This is educational in nature and not legal advice.)
4. “Being hacked, is it just a term? How do you know you are being hacked and when Norton sends you all those scan results what do they mean?” - presented by Scott Wiegand, an IT Pro.
5. "Focus on Your Business -Microsoft® Office Tips and Tricks.” This is an informative technology event featuring step-by-step demonstrations designed to help you get the most from Microsoft Office® in your day-to-day work, presented by Moshe Apelas, a certified Microsoft® Partner.
Computers A to Z includes a raffle to win Windows® 7 Ultimate OS, an estimated retail value of $219.99, and Office Professional® 2010, an estimated retail value of $499.99. The raffle tickets will only be sold at the event for $10.00 each, 3 for $20.00 and 5 for $30.00.
There is no cost to participate and free refreshments will be served. Everyone in the community is invited and all who attend will be eligible to win a door prize from Microsoft®. Bring a family member, friend or co-worker; there will be something for everybody to sink their teeth into and to enjoy.
