7:00AM  - Woke up and went to the computer to check on things. "Man!" I said, "Go back to bed!" So I did and wouldn't you know, I woke up at....

9:15AM - So I scurried over to the computer and opened the emails up and bam, there it was, a HUD Bid Acceptance for Joyce and Duane from Minnesota. I congratulated them and went down for breakfast after the shower.

10:00AM - So we're eating breakfast and talking and Karen, Carey, and I decided to do some morning things together: A) Meet our clients from New Foundland who flew into see the home they bought a month ago (to actually see it for the first time) B) Go turn on the water valve and electric panel so that the appraiser could inspect the home Karen has in escrow in the Villages of Rancho El Dorado C) Check out the new home that Karen is now in escrow on for herself in Senita and D) Check out the charter school that Brandon might switch to and start the first grade in next August.

1:00PM - So we did all that and I came back to a fairly quiet home where I could return phone calls, field the leads that have come in, and take care of some admin. Oh and to prepare for the home viewing with a new client named Wendy who saw me on Zillow. She also needs to list her current home, so we'll do that too. Gee, I am thankful for the internet advertising along with the open house approach we have going on right now. You can't just rely on one method. I am not a master marketing guy or anything, but I am doing my dangdest to get the name of Top 5 Real Estate out there, because I believe in our system and methodology and our truthful guidance for the clients we lead.

4:00PM - Met Carey at the open house, visited my esteemed investor client David, dropped off the key to our recent new home owner Tracy, and then showed this home to Wendy:

7:00PM - I finally made it home. I have been really under the weather lately, sucking down Pepto Bismal, some other syrupy thing, and Motrin for my upset stomach for the last 2 days. But I think I am finally over it. Brandon made it to Tae Kwon Doe with Carey, but he squirreled out of practicing piano with me today. He is doing quite well in that regard but right now he is so favoring the art of the kick over the finger play on the keyboard. I told, "Brandon do Tae Kwon Doe because you love it and enjoy it and do it for yourself. But learn piano for your Daddy. Can you do that?" He said, "Yes I will try." And that's all I can really ask for isn't it? I know both pursuits will benefit him in the long run.
