Thanks Denise. I love the way her little head is facing in the same direction as the ducks. :)
Your granddaughter is having fun chasing the ducks and I'm sure you had just as much fun photographing the moment.
She lives closer to your neck of the woods, Norma. In Redondo Beach.
I love this post, ARDELL. It really speaks to how homebuyers should really think about their search
Hi Jeff! As with "our" client...she could walk to work and that was her right "where"! Thanks for helping her family find the right what in that where. :) I think it's wonderful to help someone who knows exactly where they want to be.
LOL! Susan! I just "got" your comment. :)
Ardell, you hit the nail on the head. We have Buyers wanting to move out into the Country only to find that they spend way to much time driving their kids to events.
Ardell, I love this photo. Ahhhh, to experience life again through the eyes of a child is such a gift.
Al and Peggy,
Sometimes people have something in their head that they thought they wanted...life just doesn't always work out the way they think it will.
Vickie...children are such a great gift...at any age. :)
Ardell, this could easily be a painting. Grandchildren are such a joy! We are really enjoying our two-year old grandson.
Sharon
Sharon,
I think I'll have it made into a jigsaw puzzle. :)
I think I like Gramma or Gram for short ...that's what my kid's call my mom...still. :)
Hi Ardell...What a precious photo. Your granddaughter will be so happy to have that as she grows older. What a gift.
Kate
Sally - Sometimes they pick their own name to call you. :)
Kate - It was a great day! So happy we "captured" the moment so well. Doesn't happen often enough.
Beautiful Picture, ARDELL _ my mom goes by Nana , too:) very sweet - glad they did not ite her - LOL
Hi Courtney! I think she's cute enough to bite...but the ducks didn't. :)
Ardell,
What a beautiful story and photo too. Your 3 year old granddaughter is the light of your life, I can tell that she gives you my joy and inspiration. I think it's a winning photograph and story. I am even going to click suggest because you have a beautiful way of putting things into perspective. You're so right about using time wisely and making the most out of those days when the weather is good; but more important to always find a reason to share quality time with a child. The message you shared about where to find a home tugs at my heart. Through my eyes and in my heart, this is a winning photo with context too.
Patricia
Thanks Patricia! Today is starting out to be one of those goegeous days and the rhododendron is starting to bloom. After 4th of July it stays pretty consistently nice around here until late fall.
Hi Ardell - BIG smiles here when I saw this photo. Kids are great!
Reminds me of my daughter at that age - we had a pond on our property and she was always trying to get close enough to hug the geese and ducks she would give her animal crackers to.
Thanks Andre. It's an easy jump in my brain to picture her doggie paddling along with the ducks. :)
