I Toured Deer Creek Village in Edmond, and I Liked it!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to tour Deer Creek Village.  Deer Creek Village is located just about a mile north of the turnpike off MacArthur.  To be more specific, at NW 155th and MacArthur Boulevard.  It's super convenient to the ProCure facility, the new Farmer's Insurance campus and of course Mercy Hospital.

This is more of a community than just a neighborhood because of all the features you will find.  Deer Creek Village has a clubhouse with fitness center, a swimming pool, playground, acres of parks and walking trails, a pond, basketball court and even a soccer field.  There is an active home owner's association with an annual dues of just $350.  Students attend Deer Creek Elementary, Deer Creek Middle School, and Deer Creek High School.

Homes in the neighborhood range in size from 1800 to 2800 square feet with a current list price between $215,000 and $340,000 built by a variety of builders. I really liked how the streets meandered through the addition with lots of cul-de-sacs.  You can ride along with me for a tour without even leaving your office by clicking here. 

While I was there, I toured homes by Westpoint Homes.  I found all the living areas to be very open and the finishes to be very detailed.  In the Westpoint Homes I really liked the barrel ceiling in the foyer, the black finish on the paneled interior doors (very sharp), and the striking selection of light fixtures.

I had the chance to visit with Blake Kramer with Westpoint Homes.  He let me know that the Westpoint Homes in Deer Creek Village feature some notable standard features.  They all have fully sodded front and back yards, sprinkler systems, garage door openers, 3cm granite in the kitchens, and are very energy efficient.
