Man Looking Over Fence

Annoying Neighbor  #16: Nosey Neighbor
(vicinus-committo) The typical nosey neighbor has the bad habit of looking over the six foot fence between your properties, yet he is only five and a half feet tall. He's always getting his paper in the morning when you leave and watering his grass when you get home from work. Always "notices" when you have guests over and likes to use the phrase "Hey Buddy!" a lot.  If this describes your neighbor, contact Eric D. Will you offer some sort of gaurantee about who moves into next to me in my new home?  Will you do a buy back with let's say... uh... a modest 21% appreciation rated compiled yearly from date of closing?

I dislike my neighbor.  I won't go into all the details but we have had some "words". But I'm not moving.  I just keep praying that he moves but 7 years later and he is still there.

Eric:

The best way to get along with your neighbors is to make sure they are far enough away from your properyt. Buy Ten acres and build in the middle. HA just kidding. Good post.

Cute and effective Mr Bolton.  I had one of these neighbors and would probably still be in my old house if it weren't for them!  I loved that house but couldn't live next to old people who would terrorize my kids or my husband and I.

I love your post. I've worked with several clients who just wanted to get away from a bad neighbor. Do you ever use this in your outdoor advertising? It is such a unique take.

Eric

This is funny and it is great, how many times do you hear from people about the neighbors are no good? I would like to use this if it is OK with you?

Jon - I can not make any guarentees.. Sorry

Jennifer - I just made the flyer today.. I plan on mass producing it this week and passing it out to the homes in my neighborhood.

Gary - I would like to say yes you can.. But I really want to try to trademark the "hate your neighbor" phrase.  I wouldn't mind if you used a variation of it though.

Everyone else.. Thanks for the great remarks...
