Grand Opening of Cedar Parks 1890 Ranch Shopping Center

I am so excited about this!  As a member of this community I am definitely looking forward to having all this terrific shopping and restaurants near by!  -

With 385,000 square feet of space 1890 Ranch will open with 9% occupancy 2 p.m. next Sunday October 14. However, they will be open on Wed October 10th for limited hours to "practice" for the opening.  In fact, some places have been almost ready to open for a few weeks now.

The Ranch will have one of the few Starbucks in the nation that has drive-through service. -YIPPEE!!  The Cinemark theater will have 12 screens. Super Target and Fed Ex will open, too.

In front of the theater, 40,000 square feet of space has been designated for restaurant space to create an entertainment district. Northington said -a representative of Endeavor Group.  Once the Ranch gets operational, he feels that several restaurants will want in on this location. His group has turned down most national restaurant chains that want in as he's trying to keep it as localized and unique as possible. Buffalo Wild Wings, he said, is the only sure tenant for the future. As for fast food, Carl's Jr. and Chik-fil-A have already committed to the project.

Phase II will begin 60 days after Oct. 14. Phase II includes a Gold's Gym and an Academy. And the final phase of the project - the east track of land - will begin construction after Phase II.  This phase is slated to open sometime in 2009.

Northington said his group is so confident in the project that it has begun doling more cash into it than originally planned. "We have spent $4 million more than we budgeted," he told the Cedar Park City Council on Sept. 27.
