Greer Ranch Living, Murrieta CA: Dreary Morning, Delicate Rose.

I walked outside this morning and saw this rose... partially unfurled and ringed with droplets. I thought it was beautiful and decided to share.

The weather has been unseasonably warm these past couple days, but the heat gave way to cooler, overcast weather this morning.

Bill - very beautiful rose - the colour is so unusual. Hope your weather improves soon - we're also having dreary days unfortunately.

Cheers!

Hi David. It is an unusual color, isn’t it?  My rose garden has a variety of colors including this tan one, plus yellow-red, deep purple, violet... All very beautiful. The previous owners planted the garden, so I have no idea what type of roses they are. I just know that my gardener cares for them... prunes them, feeds them... while I just get to relax and admire them. (And take the occasional photo to share with others!)  ;)

Hello Ann. Thanks you for the compliment. And though it was a dreary day today, the skies have cleared and the weather warmed... which has teased open even more rose buds.

Hi Bill - That is an amazing rose photo--wet on the outer pedals and dry inside!  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hi Chris! That's why I wanted to get the shot... because of how the water was only on the outside petals. I don’t know how it happened, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Hey Jane! Yep, Jose keeps our garden green and blooming!

Bill,

That is a great rose. Love the color and the water droplets give it a great accent. :)
