MeMe , Gita Bantwal, Bucks County Realtor , 5 things that google does not know.

I thank Pat Kennedy for tagging me and giving me this opportunity so that AR will know 5 things about me. I hope I will make new friends with those who share my interests.

Here is some information about me.

1 Family .

I am from Bombay, India and have been here since 1975. I am married to an engineer who is also a musician and plays the Indian drums with professionals visiting from India. We have an organization and I arrange Indian music concerts. I have just one son who works in NY . i am very proud of him. I visit my parents in India every year as they are old and can not visit me. My father is a CPA and loves to write and published two novels last year and has written two more books yet to be published. I have one brother and his family in Denver and another brother and his family in India.

2. I love to read anything: books, newspapers and magazines, and to cook. I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Physics and I say that cooking is like chemistry. I experiment with different ingredients and have won awards for my recipes. . But since I joined AR the only thing I do besides Real estate is reading blogs on AR . I have learned a lot from it. I thank everyone who contributes to AR.

3. I have been in Real Estate since 1992. Prior to 1992 I worked as a Customer Service Rep at CoreStates Bank (Now Wachovia) I love my job as a Realtor because of the flexibility of being able to visit India .

4. I do not watch much TV except some game shows like Millionaire , sitcoms reruns like Friends, Raymond,Seinfeld, and NFL Football.

5. I love to go shopping for bargains clothes and hand bags and buy clothes on clearance even if they may not be my size, hoping I will use my sewing machine and alter it. I love the Dollar store.

This was a good project because I wanted to meme so many people and most of them were memed so I read about them and got to know them better.

These MeMe's are so much fun. Funny how AR has saved me money. I don't buy nearly as many books as I used to. I now do most of my reading on AR.

Jennifer, Thanks for the comments. I think they start counting the days to when I will be coming next , the day I leave Bombay . I know it is difficult for them because when my son visits from NY which is 2 hours away, I can't wait till his next visit.

Gita - it is so fascinating to find out more about people on AR just like in real life. We think we know someone form their public persona, but so much more comes out from a post like yours. It's amazing that you majored in Chemistry and Physics , that your father is a writer -you and I have a lot in common, besides being in neighboring states. Rob, Thank you for the compliments. I post the events on a couple of Indian sites. We used to have a site for our organization but did not renew it. Most of the people who attend the concerts live in NJ so we have the concerts in Princeton area.
