Where did you put your bowling shoes?  Bring 'em to a place in Hinsdale .......

Rounding out my story line of unusual homes on the market wehome with bowling alley, come across one in our own in Hinsdale IL that has a full blown bowling alley lane in the basement!  You've got to admit, some people think of everything!

How about this 9000 square foot stunner for $5,100,000?  We've got 5BR's, 3.4BA's and 5 Fireplaces to keep you warm after bowling with the kids!

This house has some fabulous woodworking and 'english manor' feel to it with rustic hardwood floors.  A few of the little 'extras' include the wine cellar, gym (before or after bowling?) circular stairway and fabulous circular landing, enclosed porch just off the gourmet kitchen, marble soaking tub, throw in some european fixtures and a 3 car garage.  As usual for Chicago, it's brick, brick and more brick!  Even for the sidewalks!

Lyn- I have been in that house and it has a golf simulator too.  The owner was or is a professional golfer.

Joe: That's your neck of the woods, glad you got a chance to tour the interior. I thought it was an interesting feature in a listed house.

Paula: Different for sure.

Ellen: I'm sure the kids & their friends have fun.

Karen:  It's a great looking home with many standard amenities besides the bowling alley.

Carla: I should make a hilarious movie about how I bowl - I can only describe it as having a seizure & then releasing the ball.  It's as straight as an arrow & people just can't believe it.  It's really embarrassing beyond belief.  I think a pool table is the best.
