Happy Mother's Day -- Flowers for Mother's Day.  Here are some flower pictures I have taken over the last month that I'd like to share with you.

daisy

I am experimenting with taking pictures with my camera.  Sometimes the images turn out blurry, but I'm getting better at being able to take close up pictures.  Flowers are a good subject to take pictures of -- they have such great colors.

These delicate purple flowers were in a plant pot at a family gathering, but I don't know what they are, do you?

These red beauties almost look like verbena, but I've never seen a star shaped flower exactly like this on a verbena before.

These happy yellow flowers caught my eye as well.  They might be daisies.

I think this is a dahlia, but can't confirm on Google.

iris

This beautiful iris is fixing to unfurl.  Look at the gorgeous purple viens.  The last two pictures were taken down the street from a house that I just helped a family lease.  I was happy to be able to help them find a home for lease in Houston

Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Beautiful pictures, makes me wish I was taking pictures yesterday.  We were out in the woods mushroom hunting and found some really pretty wildflowers.

You did a great job on photographing the flowers, Liz. The red ones in #3 are Penta's.
