Why I Think Mother's Day is Over-Rated........!!!

Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing but the highest respect, admiration and love for the Mothers in my life.
Off course I respect, admire and love my Mom, who passed away many years ago, My Grandma,  (the only one I knew) all 4 foot 9 inches of her and who passed away nearly 40 years ago.
Even the Mother of my kids, although I can't stand being in the same postal code with her, gets my respect....

Off course the love of my life "Linda" is a truly amazing Woman, Wife,  Mother and Grandmother, and she is truly Pfanntastic in every way......

So what the heck is my point, you may ask?

Well Simple........ Why would you honour the amazing women in your life only 1 to maybe 3 days  out of the year.......(when adding a birthday and possibly an anniversary)?
Seems to me that by having "one special day" we kind off say, that it is Okay, to take the Mothers of the world for granted, the rest of the year.......

So here is my suggestion:

Do a little less "Hallmark" for the one day    and

Pay a Little more Attention, Respect, Care & Love every Opportunity that the Mother's in your life pop's in your mind ......
