          and of course, the Fletcher's Corny Dog!                           

Everyone knows that a trip to the Fair is not complete until you have had a golden fried dog on a stick. The proper name for this Texas tradition is a CORNY DOG, if you call it by any other name (especially corn dog) than all will know you are a Fletcher newbie. (proper pronunciation is "kawr-nee dawg")

Neil & Carl Fletcher "cooked" up this delectable treat in 1942 and they have been satisfying Texans for the last 65 years. Operating six locations on the fairgrounds, they sell over a 500,000 corny dogs in a little over three weeks!

Hurry! Only 15 more days to eat your golden, batter fried dogs!
