Last week, my husband and I spent some time in North Phoenix...way north. We came across communities that we have never seen before, truly beautiful desert communities nestled in the mountains.

I have to say, this is my favorite time of year in the desert...the desert is in bloom!

Beautiful... Amazing how many people have little or no idea just how beautiful the desert really is. And maybe that's a good thing. Mike above is an example by saying 'who knew'. Over my lifetime I have spent many hours at a nice slow pace taking in all the beauty of the desert. Wife and I spent all of March 2011 in Lake Havasu, then Fountain Hills and on to Sedona and Jerome. Love it.. Already have reservations again for your area in 2012.
