I wrote a while ago about the way I find buyers. Some people commented, and it may have been when I posted that I didn't get more comments. However, I think this is a really good way to mix with people who are enjoying visiting your home area. The Time Share resorts in your area - if you have them are great ways to meet people who are visiting either because they purchased a time share or are renting to potential buyers. These people are friendly and want to talk about what they perceive to be paradise. They have an interest in the area or they wouldn't be there. They look to real estate agents as "experts" in the area and love to talk to us.
It's not a usual place for us to visit, however, my boyfriend turned me on to these people. They have become one of my greatest sources of customers, referrals, etc. They take baggies of my business cards home and are happy that I have given them info. on what to do for fun while they visit...on a good day they give me names and phone numbers.
Remember...they are here visiting because something about our area interests them...feed on that...they'll love you for it...and hand your cards out to all their friends.
