Another Success Story
Jonathan and Greta W. were referred by a Realtor. They had a recent history of some credit challenges, which hurt their credit scores. They wanted to purchase their first home, but knew that previous credit issues might preclude them from being able to buy.
It turned out that a number of the credit items were already resolved, but were never credited on their credit reports. I had them get me evidence of the paid obligations. We sent all of the evidence of paid obligations for the three credit bureaus and had what is called "Rapid rescores" done and in 5 business days, each of their credit scores improved more than enough so they could qualify for the home they wanted to buy.
The purchase price was $169,000, they put 3.5% down ($5915); their mortgage payment was $1,253 per month. The seller of the property agreed to pay the closing cost ($5,100). They were paying $1,150 per month for rent and getting no tax benefits and or future equity.
They have since referred their best friends, who are presently shopping for their new home.
