We were opposed by a strong-willed law firm which is one of the biggest foreclosure firms in California. They fought hard to get our wrongful foreclosure cause of action tossed out on demurrer. After two amended complaints, the judge overruled their demurrer as to wrongful foreclosure (and two other causes of action). It can be done, and it takes some legal wrestling, but at the end of the day, the law must be followed. We teach our kids that, and at least this judge agrees.
