Oceanside Real Estate Market Report for April 2011

In April 2011 there were 189 homes sold in Oceanside's 4 zip codes (92054, 92056, 92057, 92058), 14% more than last month. Here's the breakdown of overall activity.

Sales volume rose over March volume; average sale prices rose as well for detached homes but declined modestly for attached.
At the end of April 2011 there were 950 Oceanside homes for sale, 3% more than last month. This represents an inventory of 6.2 months for detached homes (up from 6 months in March) and 5.6 months for attached homes (the same as in March) based on the current rate of sales over the last 6 months.

In April 278 Oceanside homes came on the market, a decrease of 7% over March's new listings. During April the number of homes going pending (157) was down 10% from last month.
