No Name Ridge-Hiking Trail in Crystal Cove, Ca.

This trail is located at Crystal Cove, which is between Newport Beach, Ca. and Laguna Beach, Ca. This trail is a 3.58 mile trail, round trip, with rolling hills, ocean views, wildflowers, grassland, etc. Difficulty I would say is about moderate.

If you take the Ocean view trail, which is a 1.6 mile hike, best time to go is during the spring because of all the wild flowers. Any other time might prove to be disappointing due to the luxury development that is going on.

Because this trail is very open and a mostly tree less country side, I would suggest a hat and sunscreen and bring lots of water, and watch out for snakes... (Saw a snake skin on this trail once and I was pretty freaked out)..

Looks like it would be a challenging hike. Lots of ups and downs. Beautiful view though.

Thanks Stacey
