Mammojam Music Festival 2011 - Federal Hill, Baltimore, MD
It's all happening this weekend - May 14, 2011 in Federal Hill!! This is a great opportunity for you to come out and enjoy some great music and support Breast Cancer Awareness and help low income and homeless women get the medical care they desperately need for screening and treatment.
The MammoJam Music Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment programs through artistic and live music performances. Since 2004 supporters have come to Federal Hill's Eight by Ten located at 10 E. Cross Street in Baltimore, MD to enjoy the hottest regional and national bands and food provided by some of Baltimore's top restaurants. In 2009 the non-profit expanded that tradition as they welcomed Emmylou Harris and over 1500 supporters to the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall for their biggest event to date.
Mammojam is proud to be working with great organizations like the Hoffberger Breast Center at Mercy Medical Center and the Breast and Cervical Cancer Center at Harbor Hospital to provide diagnostic and treatment services for uninsured and homeless women in the Baltimore area.
