How is this different than Talking House?

This is FM, while talking house is AM

This doesn't come with a fancy pack of videos and a course on how to market to FSBO's

You can touch the antenna and it won't go "out of sync"

You don't have to buy 3 of them

It's not the size of a VCR, it fits in your hand.

but you're right... it's also a radio transmitter and it can also be used to sell real estate, so in that way, they're the same thing.

I am not discounting the product...I have used Talking House before and thought it was a waste of time and it can't track anything.

Why won't you put the price of it on the website?  That's so irritating!

Sorry kent, there are a couple of reasons,

1. We're just adjusting prices right now in preparation for a tradeshow

2. We are trying to implement an online shopping cart, and have not yet been successful :) and the single paypal buttons didn't allow for shipping and such.

Here is a link to our current price sheet for SellFM

Big bucks. Alot more than Talking House. I like to shop Canadian but I'm not sure if the high price is worth it. Can you do better like perhaps $300 and it includes a sign?

Mike, I hear you...

Honestly this is one of those chicken/egg things.

Need more production to bring costs down. But for that we need more sales which is hard while our prices are high... rinse and repeat.

We're actually in trials with another supplier who should be able to lower our prices to hopefully somewhere close the the mark you're talking about, but I want to make sure that the product works at least as well as the one we have now.  It's a lot less record time, but I'm pretty convinced that you don't need more than a couple of minutes anyway ... after about 90 seconds people tune out anyway.

That said... remember

It's a 1 shot expense for something that you'll be able to use for years.

How many other marketing expenses do you have that you can use over and over again?

Vincent:

As long as you have a station available you should be fine

You don't want to use an existing station as that'll get you in trouble in a hurry.

check http://radio-locator.com/ it'll tell you what's in your area
