Morse Reservoir Waterfront Homes - Vacation-style Living All Year Long!

Morse Reservoir, Hamilton County IndianaCentral Indiana residents looking for the carefree lifestyle which only waterfront living offers are increasingly looking to the beautiful banks of Morse Reservoir in northern Hamilton County. Just 45 minutes north of Indianapolis between the towns of Noblesville and Cicero, Morse Reservoir covers 35 miles of shoreline and boasts some pretty spectacular Hamilton County waterfront real estate. Morse, as it's affectionately known locally, was originally created as a community of lakefront vacation cottages where Indianapolis city dwellers could escape the bustle of downtown. Today, there are still many Morse vacation homes, as well as a growing number of permanent residences. Cicero and Noblesville homes on the lake range in price from $200,000 to over $1 million.

Morse Reservoir homeLiving on or near Morse can feel a lot like being on vacation thanks to unlimited opportunities for recreation and relaxation! Numerous parks around the lake offer picnicking, swimming, playgrounds, and fishing. Morse Lake Park in Noblesville has plenty of room for frisbee throwing, picnicking, swinging, and even swimming on the man-made beach. Further north in Cicero, Red Bridge Park consists of a clubhouse and the Cicero Public Pool. For golf enthusiasts, Harbour Trees Golf Club in North Harbour of Noblesville offers a challenging 18-hole course. And, of course, there is always the excitement of boating, tubing, jet skiing, water skiing, and wakeboarding that can only be found with lakeside living.

Two different school corporations serve the Morse area. Students on the north side of the lake in Cicero are part of the Hamilton Heights School Corporation. On the south side in Noblesville, students attend schools within the Noblesville Schools district. Both districts are noted for excellent academics.

Hamilton County waterfront living on Morse Reservoir is a lifestyle you just can't beat!

Pat, nice job of sharing the wonderful things that Morse has to offer.  I went down in the late 70's several years to the Ladies Professional Golf Association(LPGA) that was at the Harbor Trees Golf Club.  The highlight one year was having LPGA golf superstar Jan Stephenson take refuge in my vehicle when a tornado like storm came out of nowhere far from the clubhouse.

Joan--It is a really beautiful area---and great fireworks on the Fourth!

Chris--I have always wondered why people who can afford it don't just buy a home to use as a weekend getaway.  Inexpensive enough to own more than one home---one in the city and one on Morse!

Debra--So many people are drawn to water.  Not sure what it is.....the peacefulness?

Sharon---How exciting!  What a story to tell!  We are members at Harbour Trees---it is a great golf course and club facility.
