11 Comments on Praying for Rain in Hondo, Texas
Everyone has their issues. Some want the rain and others don't. Prayers on the way.
Seems the weather is a bit mixed up right now. Must be pretty dry after six months of no rain.
Larry - so true. Thanks for the prayers.
Lindsey - it's pretty ugly... I'll have to take a picture and post. National weather service has us listed as "extreme drought". Hard to believe when there's so much flooding elsewhere.
Please add East Texas too, it is so bad all over the state, what a mixes up Spring..
What is going on and why can't Mother Nature help us all out? I'm from a farming family and I've always been such a weather watcher. Best to you and the Mississippi peeps.
I wish we could give you some of what we've been getting here for the past few weeks.
I so agree. San Antonio had .1" of rain and that was snow in Feb. Nothing since and it has been 90+ days!
Hi Tara, We pray everyday for that precious commodity to drop from the skies. Maybe, today!
The weather sure is whacky the last decade. I hope you get the rain you need soon, put an end to those wildfires.
Hi Tara,
Six months with no rain? And isn't the summer normally the dry season?
Brenda - no doubt. Will do.
Laura - I agree... the weather has been so strange.
Bernadine - me too!
Sam - I hear ya... although my husband's fire station (close to Marbach and 410) had some rain this week.
Ricki - the more prayers, the better, right?
Chris Ann - thanks so much.
Doug - actually, we usually have some showers in May/June - and most of the flash flooding that we've had (which is typically how the end to our drought comes) is in July.
