Today I had my first featured post!  The blog, "I Sell Homes For Fun, I Don't Need To Get Paid" was first published last night as a Member's Only Post.  When I found my post staring at me on ActiveRain's main page, I decided it was time to open it up to a wider audience.  My inspiration for this change came from Kevin Tomlinson's blog this morning.

The featured post is a milestone for me.  I made the commitment to the 31 Days of May Challenge and I've more than doubled the number of blog posts since the Challenge started on May 1st.  Thanks to everyone who hit "Suggest" and thanks to Kevin for his suggestion to make a "Member's Only" post public once it is featured or in the daily newsletter so it will be easier for other members to read without going through the whole login process.

Most of you reading this may not know me.  I was back here a lot in 2007/2008. 

I may not participate much, though I wish I could, but I do get the ActiveRain newsletter and usually I get it on my phone between appointments---as I guess many of the agents like me do.

I have just one bit of advice:  If you make the newsletter, and if your post is a Member's Only post, please consider that all of us on our phones may want to read your post but logging in to read a Member's Only post is quite tedious while "out and about."  So, if you make the newsletter and want your post read PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING YOUR POST NOT "MEMBER'S ONLY" FOR THE DAY OF THE NEWSLETTER.

Many times I logout or go to the next post that may not be locked down.
